Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy is an action adventure video game developed by Midway Games for the Xbox, PlayStation 2 and Microsoft Windows platforms. Psi-Ops, in spite of its flaws, is still an amazing experience and highly recommended. Psi-Ops really, really liked letting you grab people and throw them - or grab objects and throw them at people - and because the interface was so sound, it led to a lot of experimentation within the game world. Psi-Ops is an action game with a twist: no longer do you have to rely solely on big weapons and explosions to progress through it you also. They really, really worked picking up an object (in this case, a person, usually) and then toyed around with the idea of what you could do with that object when you started flinging it around. Well, it does have a cheesy story to be sure, but Psi-Ops (and on an equal level Second Sight, which you may be thinking of) was one of the few games of last gen to really embrace the idea of physics-based gameplay.
